I recently found out about Google alert and how it amazingly keeps you updated with all the news you want to keep yourself informed with. Google alert is an application which basically allows you to set an alert call for updates relevant to your search criteria. It filters out the news that you want to access and get hold of.
I had set Google alert in 3 domains
Now I know these were some interesting tough categories, and I practically challenged Google to give me an Alert on any of the categories. I was hoping to receive alert from the category “Upcoming Events in Melbourne” but after a long wait, I got an alert related to PhD scholarships for Media Students. I checked my email and found out about “Nui Maynooth” and the Media Studies Scholarship . The announcement on the website says that
Media Studies is pleased to announce three scholarships for postgraduate study, beginning in September 2014.

More details regarding the Scholarship are provided on the Fees, Funding and Scholarship page of the website. The University is located in Ireland and is definitely worth applying for by graduates and postgraduates.
